Go get your math/grammar basket or sack.  There should be nothing in your math/grammar basket or sack.

Go to your bedroom and pick up three nouns.  Show your daddy and mama what you picked up.  Count the items and tell your parents what they are.  How many nouns do you have altogether?

Now, go to the front room and pick up three items that your parents would allow.  Show your daddy and mama what you found.  Count and name the nouns for your parents.  How many items do you have?
