Smell

But I have all, and abound:  I am full, having received of Epaphroditus the things which were sent from you, an odour of a sweet smell, a sacrifice acceptable, well pleasing to God ...           Philippians 4:18

Then took Mary a pound of ointment of spikenard, very costly, and anointed the feet of Jesus, and wiped His feet with her hair:  and the house was filled with the odour of the ointment ...
          John 12:3

Movie ...

Taming of the Shrew
Shakespearean comedy with Richard Burton and Elizabeth Taylor.  Throughout the movie the actors/actresses make funny facial expressions about how each other "smells".  There is also a scene where Petruchio (Richard Burton) is brought a huge basin to wash in and where he only sprinkles the scented water gingerly behind his ears (too funny)

By Fair Means and Fowl (episode), All Creatures Great and Small, BBC production.  This is an hilarious episode where Tristan, the veterinary assistant, is finally able to perform for the clinic.  He makes a long explanation about how he will release gas from the cow showing the instrument.  Just at the moment Tristan releases the cow's gas, the farmer strikes a sulfur match!  Absolutely hilarious and a true story!

Every Dog His Day (episode), All Creatures Great and Small, BBC production.  A wealthy patroness of the veterinary clinic takes on a new dog that has a problem with flatulating.  Her gardener has always wanted a dog of this caliber, but knows he can never afford such a dog.  How will this problem be solved?  Absolutely hysterical!
