Christmas Blessing
Wreath
Print off the holly template PDF file below. Have your children
color the holly template or print it off on heavy stock green
paper. Cut the holly leaves out. Have your children
write (if they are able) ...
1) what they are thankful
to God for,
2) what areas in life God reigns (e.g., science, math, history,
education, civics, family, church, State, finances, art, entertainment,
etc.),
3) Scripture verses, or
4) your blessings.
Now tape or glue your holly
leaves in a circle on the poster board and enjoy!

Christmas Ornament
Print off the Christmas ornament template PDF file below. Have
your children decorate the Christmas Ornament templates however
they desire. You may want to print off the Christmas ornament
templates on colored heavy stock paper.

Christmas Trees and Wreaths
1) Trace your small
child's hand onto cardboard to make a template
2) Use your hand template to make several on green construction
paper.
3) Cut the hands out and place them either in circle fashion
or Christmas tree fashion (with fingers hanging down).
Special Note:
You may also want to do
this with your child's footprint.


Christmas Prayer
Paper Chains
1) Cut strips of green and red construction paper.
2) On each strip of green or red construction paper, write
the names of missionaries, pastors, sevants of God, family members,
friends, Church family, etc.
3) Take one strip and loop it around either gluing the ends
together or taping them.
4) Decorate your Christmas tree with your cheerful, homemade
red and green Christmas paper chain.
5) Each day take 2 or 3 of the paper chains off and pray
for the individuals written there.
6) By Christmas, your prayer paper chain is gone and the
prayers have been sent up.

Ball Ornaments
Basic: inexpensive,
clear, round ornaments
You will take the tops off of and put them back when your ornament is done. With the acrylic paint or the metallic paint color of your choice, pour an amount of paint in the ornament to roll around and coat the whole inside of the ornmnament. Invert the ornament in an old egg carton to drain. After they are dry, replace the hangers (tops).
Variations:
If the recipient of the ornament ...
1) ... lives by water,
put some sand in the ornament and paint a simple beach scene on
the outside.
2) ... enjoys fishing, suspend fishing flies in the ornament.
3) ... loves to read, hang a small book inside the ornament.
