I called her nurse, she called the hospital for us. I packed Kris and I a bag and out the door we all went. After several hours of monitoring and a couple of shots of Breathine to stop the labor, she was discharged to home where she's to "take it easy", but isn't on bed rest. She now has to see her doctor every 2-3 weeks for a fFN (Fetal Fibronectin) to determine the likelihood of labor within the next 2 week period. Should it ever become positive, we'll start steroid injections to boost Blakes lung development and prepare him for delivery.
The boys have started a business from home. I am unable to work the business due to my unemployment restraints...and today I may be back on worker's compensation. At any rate, they know that we're having a bit of a financial struggle so they decided that this business would be their way of contributing to the houseshold, and business is really taking off.
I have an appointment today with my hand doctor. He chose to give me a ZERO disability rating...and, well, a ZERO means I can do EVERYTHING that I use to do...and I can not. I am going in there with a whole new attitude and he will answer for his rating. He WILL evaluate me over in physical therapy or he will recommend another course of action...or refer me to another doctor. My right hand is NOT well, and my left hand still has muscle issues.
That's about it. I'll try not to be a stranger...but it is so hard these days.
